Kevin Burbrink, an Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) board member and Farmer Leader from Seymour, Indiana, is committed to advancing the soybean industry through sustainability and innovation. He farms corn, soybeans, and wheat on his farm, bringing firsthand experience and knowledge to his role as a District 4 Director. Over his five years on the board, Kevin has served on key committees, including Governance, Sustainability & Value Creation, and Membership & Policy, contributing to impactful ISA initiatives and guiding the direction of Indiana’s soybean industry.
One of Kevin’s proudest accomplishments on the board is his involvement in Purdue University’s Student Soybean Innovation Competition. Serving as a judge for the past two years, he has witnessed young innovators creating new uses for soybeans, sparking interest in agricultural innovation and building demand for soy-based products. Kevin also advocates for sustainability within his community; he recently nominated the Hamilton Fire Department to receive soy-based Goodyear tires through an ISA initiative. This program, which replaces petroleum oil with soybean oil in tire production, exemplifies ISA’s commitment to reducing environmental impact and creating new markets for Indiana-grown soybeans.
