Susan Brocksmith is the Secretary of the Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) Board, where she brings her extensive experience in both agriculture and education to the role. As the Dean of the Public Service Division Office at Vincennes University, Susan has been instrumental in shaping future leaders in agribusiness. She developed the university’s four-year agribusiness concentration program and has taught for over 30 years.

Beyond academia, Susan is co-owner and operator of P.E. Brocksmith and Son Farm in Vincennes Indiana, where she and her family practice regenerative agriculture, focusing on no-till farming and cover crops. Her commitment to agriculture extends to her involvement in several community and state boards, where she advocates for sustainable farming practices and the inclusion of women in agriculture.

Susan’s contributions to the agricultural community have been recognized through numerous awards, including the 2017 America’s Farmers Mom of the Year. She continues to inspire and support the next generation of farmers, particularly women, encouraging them to take leadership roles in the industry.
