Indiana Corn Marketing Council Election Information

The Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) is made up of 15 volunteer directors and two appointed volunteer directors from farm organizations to govern Indiana checkoff funds. Those directors represent nine specific districts, as well as six At-Large Directors, who represent the entire state of Indiana. Each director serves a three-year term and can serve three consecutive terms. View All Districts Map

The elections take place every summer, and new board members take office October 1st. Candidate petitions are due in the beginning of June, and walk-in elections are held one week in August at County Extension Offices.

2024 Election Information

Three current ICMC directors will complete their third, three-year term this year and are not eligible for re-election. Exiting the board at the end of the year are Kelly Whiteman Snipes in District 2; Mike Beard in District 5 and At-Large Director Sarah Delbecq.

District 5 includes the counties of Bartholomew, Boone, Clinton, Decatur, Grant, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton. Click here for the petition form.
