The Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC) is made up of 15 volunteer directors and two appointed volunteer directors from farm organizations to govern Indiana checkoff funds. Those directors represent nine specific districts, as well as six At-Large Directors, who represent the entire state of Indiana. Each director serves a three-year term and can serve three consecutive terms. View the Board Map
There are two seats up for election in the following areas: Districts 1, 4, 7, and At-Large.
Petitions are due June 1, 2025 to elections@incornandsoy.org or can be mailed in at 8425 Keystone Crossing Suite 200 Indianapolis, IN 46240 ATTN Elections.
The elections take place every summer. Candidate petitions are due in the beginning of June, and walk-in elections will be held August 11-15 at Purdue Cooperative Extension Service county offices. New board members take office October 1.
District 1

ICMC Board Member Eligibility Requirements
The ICMC board manages state corn checkoff investments and determines promotional, educational and research activities that can strengthen Indiana’s corn industry. The elected directors will serve three-year terms beginning Oct. 1. ICMC directors can serve three consecutive full terms or a total of nine consecutive years. To become an ICMC director, you must be:
- A registered voter within the State of Indiana
- At least 18 years of age
- Currently engaged in the business of producing and marketing corn in Indiana under own name or the name of an entity in which candidate has ownership
- A resident of the district which I seek to represent
- A producer of corn and who has paid an assessment on corn within the previous two (2) years
