John Peters, a farmer from Monticello, Indiana, is passionate about excellence in soybean and corn production. As District 1 Director on the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) Board, John is committed to driving sustainable practices and market development for Indiana farmers. In August 2024, he represented ISA at the USDA’s Lockup briefing in Washington, D.C., where he gained a greater understanding of USDA’s crop reporting process, strengthening his confidence in the data supporting farmer decisions.
In his role with ISA, John advocates for initiatives that promote Indiana’s agricultural industry, increase sustainability, and support ISA’s mission of adding value to Indiana soybeans through enhanced domestic and international markets.
