Larry Rusch

Treasurer, Vincennes

Larry Rusch is a fourth-generation farmer and Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) board member from Vincennes, Indiana, where he co-owns and operates L&R Rusch Farms. Larry, his cousin Steve, Steve’s son Steven, and nephew Sean Wirth farm corn, soybeans, and wheat on their multi-generational family farm in southwestern Indiana. His passion for farming goes hand in hand with his commitment to promoting U.S. agriculture abroad and advancing sustainable and profitable farming practices.

Larry has served on the ISA Board Since 2022 as a District 3 Director, working actively on the Governance, Market Development, and Membership & Policy Committees. Among the initiatives he is most passionate about is promoting and developing biodiesel. Larry envisions a future where every gallon of diesel fuel sold is blended with soybean oil, enhancing market opportunities for Indiana soybean farmers. Recently, Larry participated in the U.S. Meat Export Federation’s Latin American Product Showcase in Cartagena, Colombia, where he witnessed firsthand the demand for high-quality U.S. soy-based products.

Larry holds an associate degree from Vincennes University and a bachelor’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He is also a proud member of the Indiana AgrIInstitute Class of 2000. He serves as a long-standing Brevort Levee Conservatory District director, where he has been committed to community water management for over 20 years. Larry and his wife, Jerri, have three children—Alex, Adriane, and Auggie—who actively contribute to their farm’s legacy. In addition to farming, Larry shares the story of Rusch Farms on social media and YouTube, bridging the gap between consumers and the agricultural community.
