From virtual and in-person field trips to hands-on projects and activity sheets, we have many resources to supplement your events and classroom needs. About the Glass Barn

From the food you eat, to the fuel you put in your car, farming is a part of your daily life. The Glass Barn was built on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in 2013 to showcase Indiana farming with an emphasis on soybeans and soybean farmers. Open to the public during the State Fair, the Glass Barn features many educational exhibits and interactive games to help visitors learn more about Indiana’s farmers and what they do every day.

The 2024 Indiana State Fair is quickly approaching! Please sign up for a shift or two to work in the Glass Barn as a member of the Bean Team! This year’s Indiana State Fair will run August 2-18.
