Win limited edition Glass Barn hat by playing virtual BeanGo

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 20, 2020) — Even though the traditional Indiana State Fair will not occur this year, the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) through its checkoff-funded Glass Barn, is still excited to engage the public about agriculture through its new online BeanGo game.

Virtual BeanGo will be available to play until Sept. 13, where consumers can play to win a limited-edition 2020 Glass Barn hat and other fun, Indiana State Fair-themed surprises.

“The Glass Barn hat has been a tradition during the fair since the Barn’s inception in 2013,” said Joe Tuholski, ISA Board member and farmer from Mill Creek, Ind. “We’ve already had people reach out to see if we are offering the hats this year even without the fair. We are glad that we will be able to do so again in 2020 and communicate with them about modern farming at the same time.”

The new game can be played at glassbarn.org/beango.

In addition to the hat, anyone who posts a picture of themselves with their new hat on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and tags the Glass Barn or uses #Glassbarn will be entered into a weekly drawing for a new Air Fryer. The drawings will occur each week in September and winners will be announced on our social media channels.

About the Glass Barn

Unveiled by Indiana’s soybean farmers at the 2013 Indiana State Fair, the Glass Barn is a popular destination for educating Hoosiers about soybean farming.

Using engaging displays, games and programs it allows visitors to learn about the farming life, farmers’ connections with the land and the technology they use to work it. Open to the public during the Indiana State Fair – and to school groups the rest of the year – the Glass Barn allows visitors to video chat with Indiana farmers. Visitors can also make use of touchscreen displays and games. The Glass Barn is also a resource destination for teachers, providing educational programs throughout the year for preschool age children to high school seniors.
